The Voyeur 1994 Full Movie Kickass Watch Online

This slasher was a staple of the mid-1990s era, back when people were not so jaded and were eager to jump into the deep end of the horror pool. It's usually overshadowed by Scream or I Know What You Did Last Summer, but there is much to appreciate in The Voyeur if one steps back from time and place. Yes, it was low budget. Yes, it barely seeks any sense when you look at its story lines. Yes, it was a little dumb at time. But, it worked because of the depth of the characters and their reactions. "The Voyeur" was a made-for-TV movie that aired on Showtime in March 1994. It was directed by Gerardo Vera from a script written by Steven Latham. Some of the actors were fairly well known for this specific genre: Powers Boothe (Bad Day At Black Rock), Ronny Cox (Stargate), Mike Genovese (Buffy The Vampire Slayer), and even a young Katherine Heigl (Knocked Up). The story begins in South America. The local newspaper office has hired an American company to take photos of the local rain forest, one of its rarest habitats in the world. One of them is a professional photographer named Chris Cooley (Mike Genovese). While taking photos, he runs into the middle of a battle between natives who are being terrorized by an unknown group that can change its form at will. When Cooley's friends show up to assist, they are attacked by the unseen foe. The only survivor is his best friend Andy (Powers Boothe), who is left for dead when he falls through a waterfall. Seven years later, Chris is a successful professional photographer with a family. He is invited to his friends' house for dinner. When they arrive, his friend Andy opens the door and Chris is shocked by his appearance. Eventually, Andy reveals that the same thing that attacked them in South America returned and was stalking him. After a botched attempt at suicide, he explains that this creature needs to feed off of people's fears before it can completely change its form. The only way to stop it from killing anyone else is by confronting it with your worst fear and forcing it to look you in the eye so you can kill it using the fear you have inside of yourself. The next day, Chris has to work with a reporter named Kim (Katherine Heigl) on a story to photograph a ghost town in Colorado which is supposedly haunted. After he takes a photo of the "haunted" shack, his mother Karen (Powers Boothe) sees something that makes her believe that someone from Korea is living there. The people from Korea were forced out of their original homes by Japanese soldiers during the Japanese invasion of Korea. Karen reveals that Chris' grandfather lived in the haunted shack as a child and that his family was killed as part of the Japanese occupation. cfa1e77820
